BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir urged the interim government to hold an election within three months, promising full cooperation. Speaking at a BNP rally in Nayapaltan, he praised students managing traffic and expressed solidarity with the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement. He denied BNP involvement in nationwide vandalism and looting, blaming accomplices of the "fascist government" and urged handing over anyone misusing BNP's name to law enforcement.
