Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Maksud Kamal has resigned

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor ASM Maksud Kamal resigned, citing personal reasons for his decision. He waited until the formation of a new government before resigning and sending his letter to the Ministry of Education. Maksud Kamal served in various levels within DU including Senate and Syndicate, as well as being an active member of pro-Awami League teachers' organization. Apart from him, principals of seven halls of DU are reported to have resigned as well.
