Former Foreign Minister Hasan Mahmud's Bank Accounts Seized

The Financial Intelligence Department of Bangladesh Bank has ordered the seizure of all bank accounts of former foreign minister and Awami League top leader Hasan Mahmud, his wife and daughter. This directive was issued under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2012. As a result, no money can be withdrawn from their personal or business bank accounts.
