In a recent announcement, a popular medical college hospital in the capital has declared to cover all medical expenses (excluding medication) for those injured in the ongoing protest against inequality. The hospital's management, headed by EMM Esmauljan Rubel, stated that this decision will take effect from August 12th for current patients. This decision comes after students raised allegations of exorbitant bills during their participation in the protests. Following a meeting between the students and the hospital's management, the military intervened and led to the swift resolution of the medical expense issue. This decision is particularly significant, considering the widespread student protests that resulted in the deaths of over a hundred people and injuries to thousands in July. Presently, 12 injured students have been admitted to the Popular Medical College Hospital in relation to the ongoing student protests.
