Report Reveals Palak Lied About Internet Shutdown and Data Center Fire

An investigation report reveals that former state minister Junaid Ahmed Palak lied about the connection between a data center fire and the internet shutdown in Bangladesh. The shutdown was actually due to the student quota reform movement. The report was released after Sheikh Hasina's resignation and the formation of a new interim government led by Dr. Muhammad Yunus. Two coordinators of the student movement, including Nahid Islam, are now advisors in the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology.
