After the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government, the country's stock market experienced a significant downfall. The Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) saw a decrease in share and unit prices of most companies, leading to a fall in all price indices. Similarly, the Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) had more companies moving from gainers to decliners. This bearish trend started at the beginning of the trade and continued till the end, causing all indices to plummet.
