In a surprising turn of events, eggs were thrown at a police van escorting Salman F Rahman and Anisul Huq to the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Dhaka. The duo, former allies of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, were arrested on charges of instigating a murder case and were attempting to flee via the waterway. The incident occurred around 6:15 pm when police vehicles entered the court premises, drawing the attention of lawyers and onlookers. The crowd expressed their displeasure by chanting "Bhua Bhua" and throwing eggs at the van. The two were later remanded for 10 days by the court for further investigation.
