Dhanmondi Road No. 32, home to the Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Memorial Museum, is blocked and guarded by people with sticks. The area has been tense since Wednesday night, with individuals being questioned and identification checks being carried out. The road leads to Bangabandhu's residence where he and his family were assassinated in 1975. With the Awami League government recently toppled, allegations of an anticipated 'counter-coup' on August 15 have surfaced. The anti-discrimination student movement claims to have information on these plans, vowing resistance and calling for people to remain on the streets.
