The Civil Aviation Authority (CABA) has implemented special measures at three international airports in Bangladesh to prevent the spread of monkeypox. The decision comes after a meeting with relevant stakeholders, following the World Health Organization's (WHO) global public health alert on the virus. The WHO declared monkeypox a global health emergency on Wednesday, with the disease infecting over 17,000 people in Africa alone and causing 500 deaths this year. Concerned passengers are requested to report any symptoms and call a designated hotline for assistance.
