After a 2-month suspension due to protests, Metro Rail services in Bangladesh are set to resume within 7 days, announced Road Transport and Bridges Adviser, Fauzul Kabir Khan. The new adviser promises cost-efficiency, transparency, and improved parking facilities in Dhaka, aiming to disrupt favoritism and develop neglected areas. He also vowed to tackle BRTA irregularities, having faced personal inconvenience in obtaining a driving license.
