Notorious 'Yaba Don' Ex-MP Abdur Rahman Bodi Arrested in Chattogram

Former Awami League MP and infamous 'Yaba Don' Abdur Rahman Bodi, who controlled the drug trade in Teknaf, has been arrested in Chattogram’s Panchlaish area. Bodi, whose family is deeply implicated in the Yaba trafficking empire, was apprehended in connection with an attempted murder case. Despite being blacklisted by the Ministry of Home Affairs, Bodi's influence allowed him and his associates to operate with impunity for years. His wife, Shahin Akhter Chowdhury, currently holds the parliamentary seat for Cox’s Bazar-4.
