Religion advisor calls for scholarship for Bangladeshi students in Pakistan

The religious adviser called on the government of Pakistan to start scholarship facilities for Bangladeshi students. A F M Khalid Hossain. The religious adviser made this request to Pakistan's High Commissioner Syed Ahmad Maruf when he met in his office room at the Secretariat on Tuesday. The Pakistani High Commissioner expressed positive interest in this request of the advisor. The religious adviser said, 'Bangladesh students have the opportunity to get higher education in Pakistan. Especially if Bangladeshi madrassas and science and technology students are provided with scholarships in Pakistan's famous universities and big madrassas including Karachi, Lahore, Multan, Peshawar, they will get the opportunity to get higher education. This will consolidate and strengthen the mutual relations between the two countries. In the meeting, Pakistan's High Commissioner sought Bangladesh's cooperation in launching direct flights from Dhaka to Karachi or Lahore. He said, 'if it is possible to launch such flights, the communication system and trade between the two countries will be easier.'
