Quality pre-primary education and the dream of Bangladesh.

The most crucial stage of primary education is pre-primary education. Based on my 8 years of experience, I can say that pre-primary education helps in developing a positive attitude towards learning in children. A child begins their first education from their parents or family members. After that, the child's pre-primary education journey begins. Pre-primary education aids in the full development of a child's personality and lays the foundation for lifelong learning.
According to Bangladesh's National Education Policy 2010, a one-year pre-primary education program was introduced for children aged 5 and above, and later, a two-year program was introduced for children aged 4 and above.
It is not unusual to question why pre-primary education is so important. By paying a little attention to the pre-primary curriculum, teacher guides, and textbooks, one can get an idea. Thanks to NCTB, everyone can now collect these books for free. The first thing to mention as a strategy for pre-primary education is a joyful and child-friendly environment. Additionally, it makes children aware of their environment, encourages the spirit of the Liberation War, and promotes the practice of their own culture. Exercise and other activities help in the development of fine motor skills. Moreover, children's curiosity and inquisitiveness are given importance through the practice of patterns, colors, rhymes, songs, and dances.
A common misconception about pre-primary education is that it only involves dancing, singing, or playing. In reality, it ensures active participation of children through play and work in a joyful and child-friendly environment. Children learn through play, enjoy learning, and learn without realizing it.
Today's children will play an effective role in building a beautiful Bangladesh in the future. Therefore, it is our responsibility to nurture them properly. By ensuring education according to their age, we will achieve the Bangladesh of our dreams through their hands.
