A night of widespread panic and sleeplessness gripped Dhaka as false news of a RAW invasion spread across the city. Many were led to believe that Indian RAW agents were behind the violence, but it has since been confirmed that the disturbances were actually caused by local police and Bangladesh Students League (BSL) members.
